Enamel Accents Sand Art Variation

As promised, today I have a variation on the technique I shared with you on Friday - Aboriginal Sand Art using Ranger's Enamel Accents.   After I made the first card I thought it would be fun to incorporate some stamps into this type of design.

So I did....

Ranger - Summer CHA 11 022

I stamped the butterflies (Just For Fun Rubber Stamps) onto two different colors of purple cardstock.  I then used the Enamel Accents to highlight each line and added dots to the wings with the White EA.  After they were dry I cut them out and mounted on the die-cut pink piece of cardstock.  I then started adding dots and lines around each butterfly until the entire piece of cardstock was covered.

After everything was mounted on the card panel I also added faux stitches using the Black EA around the edges.

Note: the flowers are sizzix flowers that I die-cut from some old  paper towels that I used to clean up some Distress Ink from my table.  Goes to show you that even garbage has a use!

It's a fun way to add lots of texture and interest to any stamped image!
