  1. The best part of Christmas is all the time together with friends. We like to get together early and make things to give away - double the fun!

  2. My favorite part of the holiday is spending time with my family. We aren't always able to see one another when we want to, so it makes the holidays very special when we are able to share them.

  3. Hi Roni -

The best part of the holidays for me is getting to spend time with my family. My siblings and I get in the kitchen, cook and chatter (even my brothers). What's nice is that now the kids are getting bigger and they want to help out to. This is especially meaningful for me since we lost our Mom & Dad some years ago. My 103 year old grandmother is now in a nursing home, but we bring her cooked food and spend several hours with her. We used to bring her home for the holidays, but lately she has been less ambulatory. Yep, spending time with family is definitely one of my favorite things.

Actually, it is the decorating, which includes making some cards and tags. Love your banner!

  6. My favorite part of the holidays is watching the kid's faces as they open their gifts! I love it and I am smiling now just thinking about it :)

  7. I love the change in the whole town. All the decorations, all the lights and trees. Drinking hot chocolate waiting in the line to sit on santa's lap... It's just my second Christmas here in the US and I absolutely love it. We do have Christmas in Russia, but first of all it is on the 7th of January and it is different.

  8. Hi Roni: My favorite part of this holiday season is hearing from people that you only hear from once a year. I also adore thinking of just the right gift for each person on my list.
Super clever push pins all decorated for holding inspiration notes. Happy creating...

  9. I really can't choose just one favorite thing about the holiday season. I absolutely LOVE Christmas!!! =) I love that everyone is in a festive mood. I love all the delicious food at parties and all the cooking and baking that goes along with it. I also love shopping for the perfect gift for people, wrapping the gift, and then seeing their big smiles! There is only one thing I don't like, and that is that the holiday season has to come to an end!

  10. Since I have no family (except Bleubeard), my favorite part is making gifts for friends and neighbors, then hand delivering them, all wrapped and ready for them to open on Christmas day. I also take a few ornaments to a local seniors home for their tree. I find it takes so little to make the residents eyes shine.

  11. Love your banner! Great colors and detail. It's contemporary and vintage all at the same time!

My favorite part about the holiday is the food! Homemade cookies and candies are a special favorite...yes, I have a sweet tooth! My brother in law makes his Granny's fudge, and my sisters and I bake cookies and swap them out.

  12. When all the gifts are purchased and wrapped, the Cards are made and mailed, the stockings are hung, the lights on the tree glow softly and Johnny Mathis Christmas album is playing -- in my dreams! I guess I love the chaos, but most of all, I love watching the children!
