November Mystery Product & Technique

O.k...

Everyone loves a mystery and I've got one for you today!

The following project was made using two principal Ranger products and one technique. Take a good look and tell me what you think the products are and what technique I used to create this puzzle piece!

Post your guesses here and Monday I will reveal how I made this project along with complete instructions!!

Each correct guess earns an entry for a chance to win a bit of the products used in this technique!

  1. OK, Roni--I'll play!! I think the products are the Tim Holtz ink blending tool and Stickles. The technique is some sort of transfer technique--maybe using gel medium??? Geez--not sure I like being first--I'll probably end up looking really stupid!! The puzzle piece is adorable--can't wait to see the tut and how you really did it!

  2. I just love this puzzle piece. I think I know the answers the blending tool, sticky-back canvas, and a little stickles. The technique is the one that Claudine does to transfer her photos onto the sticky-back canvas.

  3. I believe you used a blending tool to add "worn lipstick" distress ink to the edges of the puzzle piece and some distress stickles (possibly also "worn lipstick", but I am not positive about the color) to add some vintage sparkle!

    Great piece!

  6. Sticky back canvas, a blending tool, I think there are some Stickles in there somewhere, possible some Rock Candy crackle paint? I'm thinking a transfer technique was used on the photo. Very cool!

  10. I am really interested in your technique since I have some large puzzle piece sitting here next to my computer to work on soon! It sounds to me like we are on track. My guess is that you used some worn lipstick distress ink as well as stickles. My guess you also used the blending tool too! But I will be watching Monday to find out the details for the transfer!
