Monogram Easter Card

Here is a fun card that combines two of my favorite things....chipboard
and distress inks! It is in the current issue of Stampers Sampler in their "Eggstra Special" section of their magazine.

"H happy - E easter"
6x6

Supplies:

Distress Inks - Walnut Stain & Peeled Paint - Ranger
Archival Ink - Jet Black - Ranger
Perfect Pearls - Ranger
Rubber Stamps - CTMH
Pattern Paper - Scenic Route
Cardstock - Bazzill
Ribbon - Michaels Crafts
Flower - Prima
Trimmer & Special Edge Knife - Carl
Water brush

Instructions:
1. Adhere pattern paper to chipboard, trace & cut out letters. Distress all edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Stamp "happy" on "H" and "easter" on the "E" using Archival Jet Black Ink.

2. Cut cardstock base 12x6" - fold & score. Trim 1" off edge of card front using decorative rotary cutter or deco scissors.

3. Cut 1" strip of cardstock for front of card & distress edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Attach to card front.

4. Cut 1 1/2" strip of pattern paper and a 5 1/2 square piece of cream cardstock. Distress edges and attach to inside of card as shown.

5. Position chipboard letters in their approximate position (do not affix at this time). Stamp bunny heads & words "hopping" above the letters on the front panel ending with one bunny on the exposed piece of pattern paper.

6. Paint the bunny ears & noses with Perfect Pearls Pigment Powder & water brush.

7. Embellish & Enjoy :)

So there you have it, a fun monogrammed Easter card for anyone on your list...even your favorite Easter Bunny ;)

Have a hoppy....
I mean happy day :)
